Exactly! If a Catholic opens his mouth, then if his teeth is clean, 90% of what he says about Catholicism will be true.

As for the protestants, assuming that your teeth are clean, a reasonable 45%. The anti-Catholic protestants among you? A pitiful 5%. Sorry, folks. The truth hurts!

Wait, I take that back. a pitiful 2%. There we go. That would be a more accurate percentage. ;)

I would like to say: "God bless, everyone!" but that would be insincere in light of the words above. Instead, I'll be a nice guy and compliment Praus for having such a wonderfully feminine profile picture. We all love flowers! ;)
Sorry you follow a belief system of abusive priests and mary-worshippers. Id probably be angry too if I learned my whole religious system was a lie.

THe problem with Sola Scriptura is that it is not Biblical. Scripture says that the Pillar of Truth is the Church. Also, St. Paul told us that we are to follow the traditions given to us by letter and by word of mouth.

Also, the other problem is that the Holy Bible was recognized by the Catholic Church and canonized by it. In the end, the Catholic belief of Sacred Tradition is neither wrong nor heresy, but is biblically sound.

Mattithyah 15:2-3, "Why do Your disciples transgress the traditions of the elders? For they do not wash their hands when they eat. But He answered, and said to them: And why do you transgress the Laws of Yahweh by your traditions?"

So are we now to pit the words of St. Paul against the words of Christ, when both are held as Sacred Scripture? Or is one part of Scripture superior to another?

Where is your Scripture?

Oh, it's probably true, just like all the Marian apparitions, but they're not Mary the mother of Jesus, they're actually satan. From what I've read about Fatima, or even Lourdes, these "Marys" traffic in darkness.
Some apparitions are indeed tricks from fallen angels, but the apparition of the blessed virgin Mary at Lourdes and Fatima were true apparitions of the mother of God. And you can't prove otherwise.

2nd Thessalonians 2:15: So then, brethren, stand firm and hold to the traditions which you were taught by us, either by word of mouth or by letter.

1 Timothy 3:15:
so that if I am delayed, you will know how people must conduct themselves in the household of God. This is the church of the living God, which is the pillar and foundation of the truth.

These are two of the Scriptures I am referring to.

this does not mean they get to make stuff up, this means what they teach the comes from their mouth.

church of the living God, which is the pillar and foundation of the truth.

and this is supposed to be the RCC? come on, really?

they go against nearly everything Scripture says.

Matthew 23:9
"Do not call anyone on earth your father; for One is your Father, He who is in heaven.

1 Timothy 2:5, "For One is Yahweh; and One Mediator between Yahweh and men: the Man, Yahshua Messiah."

Exodus 20:, "4 You shall not make for yourself any carved image; an idol, in the form of anything in heaven above, or on the earth beneath, or in the waters below. 5 You shall not bow down to them nor serve them; for I, Yahweh your Father, am a jealous Heavenly Father, punishing the children for the lawbreaking of the fathers to the third and fourth generation of those who hate Me"

The Jews had an "oral tradition" how well did that go?

-> Our Lady of Guadalupe - Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

"With the Papal Brief Non Est Equidem of May 25, 1754, Pope Benedict XIV declared Our Lady of Guadalupe patron of what was then called New Spain, corresponding to Spanish Central and Northern America, and approved liturgical texts for the Holy Mass and the Breviary in her honor. Pope Leo XIII granted new texts in 1891 and authorized coronation of the image in 1895. Pope Pius X proclaimed her patron of Latin America in 1910. Pope Pius XII declared the Virgin of Guadalupe "Queen of Mexico and Empress of the Americas" in 1945, and "Patroness of the Americas" in 1946. Pope John XXIII invoked her as "Mother of the Americas" in 1961, referring to her as Mother and Teacher of the Faith of All American populations, and in 1966 Pope Paul VI sent a Golden Rose to the shrine."

Do you call your biological father father or dad? If so then by your interpretation you have sinned against God? Paul calls himself a "Father through Christ." I stand with almost 2000 years of Church Doctrine that you and others call satanic, even though I still call you my brother in Christ.

I do not call Protestants my "brothers in Christ". They certainly can't be considered brothers through the faith since they reject the faith, and they aren't our biological brothers either. Plus, why claim they are "in Christ" when they reject the teachings of Christ? Only Catholics are "in Christ".

Our Lady of Fatima is most certainly a demon--not Mary the mother of Jesus.

John 14:6 Jesus saith unto him, I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me.

Our Lady of Fatima says: (link -> Essential: Requests: The 15 Promises of Our Lady to Christians Who Recite the Rosary)

5. "The soul which recommends itself to Me by the recitation of the Rosary, shall not perish."
The Bible directs us to invoke those in heaven and ask them to pray with us.
Thus in Psalm 103, we pray, "Bless the Lord, O you his angels, you mighty ones who do his word, hearkening to the voice of his word! Bless the Lord, all his hosts, his ministers that do his will!" (Ps. 103:20-21). And in Psalm 148 we pray, "Praise the Lord! Praise the Lord from the heavens, praise him in the heights! Praise him, all his angels, praise him, all his host!" (Ps. 148:1-2)
Not only do those in heaven pray with us, they also pray for us. In Revelation, John sees that "the twenty-four elders [the leaders of the people of God in heaven] fell down before the Lamb, each holding a harp, and with golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of the saints" (Rev. 5:8). Thus the saints in heaven offer to God the prayers of the saints on earth.
Angels do the same thing: "[An] angel came and stood at the altar [in heaven] with a golden censer; and he was given much incense to mingle with the prayers of all the saints upon the golden altar before the throne; and the smoke of the incense rose with the prayers of the saints from the hand of the angel before God" (Rev. 8:3-4).
Jesus himself warned us not to mess with small children because their guardian angels have guaranteed intercessory access to the Father: "See that you do not despise one of these little ones; for I tell you that in heaven their angels always see the face of my Father who is in heaven." (Matt. 18:10).
Because he is the only God-man, Jesus is the only Mediator between man and God (1 Tim. 2:5), but this in no way means we cannot or should not ask our fellow Christians to pray with us and for us (1 Tim. 2:1-4), including those Christians in heaven, who have already had their sanctification completed, for "[t]he prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects" (Jas. 5:16).

Even the Early Christian Church fathers have said the intercession of the Saints is a good thing.....

Origen
"But not the high priest [Christ] alone prays for those who pray sincerely, but also the angels . . . as also the souls of the saints who have already fallen asleep" (Prayer 11 [A.D. 233]).

Cyprian of Carthage
"Let us remember one another in concord and unanimity. Let us on both sides [of death] always pray for one another. Let us relieve burdens and afflictions by mutual love, that if one of us, by the swiftness of divine condescension, shall go hence the first, our love may continue in the presence of the Lord, and our prayers for our brethren and sisters not cease in the presence of the Father's mercy" (Letters 56 [60]:5 [A.D. 253]).

Church's Roots Aren't European, Says Pope

-> Church's Roots Aren't European, Says Pope | ZENIT - The World Seen From Rome

VATICAN CITY, NOV. 28, 2007 (Zenit.org).- Christianity didn't originate in Europe, but rather has its roots in the Middle Eastern world of the Old Testament, says Benedict XVI.

The Pope said this today during the general audience in Paul VI Hall, which he dedicated to the figure of St. Ephrem the Syrian, a fourth-century theologian, poet and musician.

He said the reflection continued along the lines of his commentary last week on the fourth-century Syriac Christian Aphraates, which also showed the cultural diversity of the early Christians.

"According to general opinion," said the Pontiff, "Christianity is a European religion that has exported the culture of this Continent to other countries. The reality, though, is a lot more complex, as the root of the Christian religion is found in the Old Testament, and therefore in Jerusalem and the Semitic world."

The Holy Father continued: "Its expansion during the first centuries was both westward -- toward the Greek-Latin world, where it then inspired the European culture -- and eastward to Persia and India, thus contributing to stimulate a specific culture, in Semitic languages, with its own identity."

still smells like rotten eggs...

You are clearly trying to approach this from a 'catholics have the only true doctrine' approach. I'll just laugh as you get enough rope to hang yourself and probably get banned.
Nailed it.

Now martyrdom for one who gave all without honor or virtue.

There is no virtue in religion that teaches false doctrine. There can be no honor in death for a false cause.

Repent and be ye saved all ye ends of the earth.

For the cause of Christ
