I agree with you on that, communism is a more totalitarian style of government, whereas socialism is a little more liberal type of rule..both involve government controlling most sectors of life but the degree of control is more with communism than with socialism...

It is sharing wealth, and that will never work.

The reason there has to be more government control is because the masses will not tolerate this,, So the government is forced to become totalitarian, or face a civil war..

or at the very least, The contry wil go broke, and the people in power will have to cease wealth, and the lower class ends up growing huge, the middle class disappears. and the upper class well, I think history shows us what happens here..

Thanks, But I offered my life and saw many brothers killed to keep socialism out of my country,, I pray they did not all die in vein.

I find it revealing a certain type of politics, brutal dictatorship is more appealing that trying to help people, meet needs and show love.

Now a lot of these same people like "spiritual gifts" christianity with a domination theology of the christian church of society through the NAR. Talk about love, and it is mambe pamby love of tea parties, not zapp them until they drop, listen and obey your betters, apostels, prophets and teachers.

Now my politics are down the middle, a mixed economy with social support linked to a free market. You need regulation but not too much.

So maybe the spiritual disputes are not surprising when you see the brutal political leanings.

I agree both socialism and communism never work because all in the name of equality atrocities are committed. The only people who benefit are the ruling class/elite while everyone else gets squeezed out of their property, finances etc. Both forms all ways end up in civil war/revolt like you said because they (rulers) want to dominate others (just like the devil).

And I find it interesting that you lack the wherewithal to address my topic, so instead you attack me personally. Namecalling like, "uninformed" and "simpleminded" are unnecessary and illogical. The additional implication that someone whose view differs from yours is "uniformed" is also illogical. If you had a real response to the topic, you'd simply point out the variety of ways that Trump and Hillary differ.

As for his appointment of judges, you have no idea who Trump would appoint. Trump has no track record in politics. Ergo, you're relying on him to be A MAN OF HIS WORD. This would imply that he is HONEST and he has ETHICS. He has consistently proven himself to be dishonest (and not just during this campaign) and lacking in ethics. Why don't we ask his former wives how great he was at keeping his word? Oooops.

Exactly. People who are based in fear and have a scarcity mindset (there's not enough, I better get mine) LOVE Trump. The irony is that people who are full of fear are unbelievably easy to manipulate. This is why you see his followers connecting to mob mentality and just sitting by and allowing him to bully people. THIS IS INHERENTLY UNCHRISTIAN BEHAVIOR. They laugh and claim Trump is just "telling it like it is." Like Trump has some corner on truth. All Trump is good at is FLASH, IMAGE, BRANDING. He's using the fears of many Americans to get their approval and then to manipulate them to do his will. It's both pathetic and ironic.

I don't think it's the Trump people that are the ones that are scared. I think it's pretty obviously the anti-Trump people that are scared, for if Trump wins their game is over.

I'd like to point out, btw, that the EARLY CHURCH was SOCIALIST. They shared all things in common. Part of the problem with the mix of politics and religion in the United States is that there are Christians who confuse ACCULTURATION with the bible. They think a democratic governmental system is inherently biblical (although one was never displayed). They think that capitalistic ideas about property, money, and consumerism are biblical (again...evidence????). Jesus owned the clothes on his back. He gave no demonstration of consumerism as a means of pursuing God. He told the rich young man to sell all he owns and give it to the poor. Not a lot of that happening in American Christianity.

Some people aren't worshiping Jesus. They worship "Americanism" and call it Jesus.

That sounds like acculturation right there to me. Pretty sure socialism is anti-Christianity, it is after all the first step to communism.

I find the bravado of this statement interesting. Trump FLAT OUT said that if elected he'd change the libel laws so that newspapers can be sued for their "negative" press. You know who loves to control newspapers....fascist dictators. I don't get why people who have the insight of the Holy Spirit would be comfortable with someone claiming that they'll come into office and begin to control things that the executive office was never meant to control. Don't you feel like the executive powers have ALREADY BEEN ABUSED ENOUGH?

The same people who are kissing the feet of Trump were the ones complaining on these boards a few months ago about how Obama had taken things too far....that he overstepped his powers....that the checks and balances in our system were being abused.

Seriously....this is tragic irony of Ancient Greek proportions.

Well it's pretty simple, those not against us are for us. Trump is for the Christians. Trump is against the enemies of the Christians; namely the secular degenerates and the followers of islam.

No the earliest church were not socialist. God demand a man works for his wage, If he does not work, he is not to be fed.

Yes, there are people who are sick, and needy and poor and need to be served. But that is not socialism, That is being a Christian.

And socialism wants to pay people for not working. That's evil.

Game over? For what? We do not even know what he stands for. All he does is bash everyone else..

Trump is actually one of the worse candidates the right could support. So he builds a way (if he even does that, where is he gonna get the money? Obama has the country bankrupt. there is no money to do anything.)
