This demon, if my decernment is working, which needs verified, this demon makes him easy. It makes him easy to seduce with ideas, it makes him easy to control, it makes him, 'weak minded'.

When I noticed this demon just a few moments, I don't know how to deal with the problem. Should I command this devil to leave him? Or should it be handled in another way.

My brother is unsaved, and I have learned that casting a devil out of a person who is not in repentance, could make that person worse. But, I really don't think God works like a monkey paw. Isn't it true that Jesus cast devils out of many, and many of them where not saved.

Just binding the devil?

Maybe I need to explain more about him, but I really do not want to on public channel like this.

Jesus warned that casting out a demon needs to be followed up with something else to fill the void. He did not say so specifically, but the only answer is to fill the void with Jesus. For example, if someone has a demon of pride, then the answer is humility. Only Jesus can give us true humility.

So yes, binding the demon is the answer until the person is saved. Jesus delivered everyone who came to Him. Was everyone who was delivered saved? I don't know. Some were for sure. What we see in the gospels is only a tiny fraction of the works Jesus did. Maybe Jesus warned them all to get right with God (according to the Law) so that they could remain free.

I know Jesus talked big about having faith. And I know faith is also faithfulness, just part of it.
Ok I agree, because I remember the Pastors teaching on that.

edit! Oh... John the Baptist, telling everyone to repent, because the Messiah is coming.

I'd ask him if I could rest a hand in his shoulder or hold his hand (laying hands) and pray something in the field of deliverance like, "I declare with authority by the power and the blood of Jesus Christ that any unclean spirit leave this man right now. I rebuke thee! I rebuke you in the name of Jesus! He is cut free and free indeed. I break all curses and strategies of evil pit against this man. He will be a child of God and a child of light and you have no authority over him. Leave him alone and be cast out in Jesus' name.

Then pray for him to our Heavenly Father. Ask for his deliverance. You can repent for him like many of the annointed ones did for their nation in ancient Israel. Ask for forgiveness. Ask for him to see revelations and dreams and occurrences that will bring the truth of Jesus into his life. Ask for him to be saved. Google the Sinner's Prayer for starters if you don't know it already. If you could get him to say it word for word he will be on a path to healing. Pray for him and have other faithful believers pray for him. I'll pray for him too. You can go to other sites and have live chat ministers pray for him as well.

Whoever so shall call upon the name of the Lord Jesus Christ shall be saved.

Greater is he that is us than him that is in the world.

We can do all things through Christ who strengthens us.

God's kingdom is a kingdom of order. Devils (aka "demons") cannot unilaterally do whatever they want (which is to steal, kill and destroy) without first obtaining the authority to do so. And they get that authority when we (or someone in authority over us) choose to operate in self-will rather than in God's will.

My brother is unsaved, and I have learned that casting a devil out of a person who is not in repentance, could make that person worse.
While a devil could be cast out by a believer, if the unbeliever has not "filled his cup" with Jesus in the aftermath, then that devil will return with several of his buddies and again take up residence, with a far worse outcome for the unbeliever this time around.

Many people are afraid of losing their dignity during a deliverance session; thus, they are not forthright when they come for deliverance. I have had to tell many to "come back later when you're desperate."

Isn't it true that Jesus cast devils out of many, and many of them where not saved.
I cannot find in the Holy Bible where someone who was being freed from a devil, did not first initiate or otherwise evince a desire to be set free by the one who sets free (Jesus). IOW, those who were set free from devils implicitly or explicitly agreed/recognized that Jesus was The Authority to whom they must submit if they wished to be free.

Just binding the devil?
Binding has its place, but not necessarily in the area of deliverance. Binding is usually a temporary measure.

Maybe I need to explain more about him, but I really do not want to on public channel like this.
This topic is of vital importance, as the body of Christ is hemorrhaging due to a lack of teaching on the subject of deliverance.

I've cast out the damned spirits by leading their victims to Christ.
When a man gets saved, the Holy Spirit is indwelling him, so the other beings canNot get in.
That works.
That's his need.
You are uncertain if your brother is possessed for sure, and yes, trying to cast a demon out of someone who is acting gullible can be counterproductive to the bigger issue, saving him from Hell.
I have had the same exact concern for others that I wondered if possessed because they aren't always easy to know with the gift of discernment of spirits.

Do the one and you kill two birds with one stone.
Do you want help on how to go about that Brasspen?

Here is an example of a demon possessed woman. She has been deceived by a religious devil.
In this case, I would cast out the demon when spiritually strong so that she can be led to the true Jesus.

https://www.allthepreaching.com/pages/video.php?id=9871536

In this state of being, she is under control of the demon and might not even be conscious of it.

I was attacked by a demon that entered the body of a petite 18 year old lady at WVU. It tried to kill me and but for the Lord's protection, surely could have. Inbetween attacks it mumbled in what sounded like an ancient foreign language that I never heard. I wish that it was video recorded so I could share it with others. I have her picture that Mom decided to save since she was my girlfriend in college.

I tried to no avail trying to reach Maria/ Mary S. Later when I cast it out, she acted as if torn within. It wouldn't let her hear. It took over all her physicality/ senses and body.
It spoke to me many times in the strange language. The Bible speaks about how they murmer.
It's a long story of an important event that is due strong consideration.
Very few believers are ever attacked by a demon, more or less one that is in combat mode, turning off the person's governor so they are a human weapon attacking with whatever objects can be used as weapons . It/ they (however many I don't know) tried to stab me, crush my skull and rip out my eyes!
These are not creatures like the YouTube "deliverance ministers" make them out to be. I've seen some hold out their giant cross as if they were in a vampire movie. Then people get the idea that they can do the same.
What they really need to do is to get the power of God, get strangers saved so they can more easily lead family to Christ.

When it eventually was cast out, she became immediately unconscious.

She woke up out of breath gasping and panting for air, sweating, looking around Wondering where she was and how she got there.

When I told her, she didn't believe me at all.

If I were you and you thought he was demon possessed, I would take a SAVED known pastor who has been leading others to Christ for years. I can give good examples. You can assist as he directs. Demons are dangerous creatures that should not be taken lightly like the phony TV preachers make them out to be. They murder people for joy and seek to harm beyond a normal person's ability to conceive.

If your pastor teaches that you can do good works to be saved, I would find another. Once you have the gift of everlasting life, you are saved for life everlasting. Anything else leads to fear and torment. The sons of Sceva in the Bible taught obedience to Old Testament law, aka repent of your sins (turning from disobedience to the law) as the way you get saved. Their clothes were torn off their bodies and sustained series injuries.
They were in their deliverance ministry trying to cast out devil's without God's power and presence.

13Then certain of the vagabond Jews, exorcists, took upon them to call over them which had evil spirits the name of the Lord Jesus, saying, We adjure you by Jesus whom Paul preacheth. 14And there were seven sons of one Sceva, a Jew, and chief of the priests, which did so. 15And the evil spirit answered and said, Jesus I know, and Paul I know; but who are ye? 16And the man in whom the evil spirit was leaped on them, and overcame them, and prevailed against them, so that they fled out of that house naked and wounded. 17And this was known to all the Jews and Greeks also dwelling at Ephesus; and fear fell on them all, and the name of the Lord Jesus was magnified.

However, the Lord supernaturally brought me directly to the exact verse of His power. Luke 11:20

20But if I with the finger of God cast out devils, no doubt the kingdom of God is come upon you.
-Jesus

Yes these things are true.
I was listening to the news and was reminded of the many affects on people's minds. I don't know if this has anything to do with your brother. I'm just passing it forward to you in case it might help. There's a lot of chemicals in water, dental treatment, plastics, molds in the environment and electronic pollutants.
This is a shotgun approach to try to evaluate for yourself how to help him.
Even then, he needs a willingness of heart. I think you already said something like that.

THIS< is a program about wearables and AI influencing some to do ridiculous self harm.
It's not so far-fetched when I think about it. An intelligent lady who used to work for NASA and read books daily, had the weird belief that we all lived in a computer simulation like the movie the Matrix. She did sound possessed when she called me out of the blue for the first time.

Another lady wanted to see a really bad movie, very badly. I took her to the theater and we watched it. A Beautiful Mind. Immediately after watching it, she became full blown delusional. I wondered how such a thing could influence an adult like that. Was she demon possessed? Perhaps, but it never manifested, so I can't be sure.

At first she thought I was the main character in the movie. Then she appeared to be under some brainwashed hypnotic influence and perceived everything as the main character in the movie did. The character was totally schizophrenic and she became the movie character in her own mind. She showed no signs of mental illness the months prior that I knew her. Just saying that sometimes there's powerful influences that have multiple causes. Sometimes demons utilize the tech to gain access to people like divining tools.
What all they need is to decide to place their faith in Christ.
Then they should get rid of those other influences.

I will pray for your brother's salvation.
