Hi, seems a bit selfish to ask seeming as other have bigger issues. But I can't seem to get enough work and only need one day per week or half a day in hours more than I have and have not been able to get anything for 6+ years of more than 2 days a week. There is nothing around that does not require me for a Sunday when I go to church. All store roles say must be available 7 days. I simply require a set amount of work I can do. Or more hours in another role ideally four days a week would be great but I simply cannot find the filler Job or another role that is not impossible to do for me physically. Working all hours would destroy any christian efforts so i try to find something I can do that is not a long drive and long hours, otherwise what am I alive for. My role is seasonal also. I simply need more stability and reliability hopefully four days, but 3 would be fine. If someone could pray for this for me this would be great, thanks. Also, for me to have a better relationship with God as it is a bit bad due to hopelessness. I have no zeal or effort anymore. A bit of help please. Thanks.

have you thought about employing yourself in some capacity as in the talent God gave you? & about working on a Sunday: what God means is do not work on Sunday for selfish gain, just to pile up more money in a materialistic way. medical workers, police employees, store owners & emergency maintenance workers work on Sundays. these are all needful & necessary for the sustainability of human life. if you miss church, there's always a way to communicate with Jesus. will pray for you.

Gonna say a prayer for you Dave to work out the details. Perhaps he will find a different job with higher pay. That would be a step up, work the same hours but get paid more.

Dave, glad you still asking for prayers. At least you can still think there's hope in that. Sure, we can intercede for you but most effective you pray direct.

Oh I really feel you. It's tough. very tough. I've been looking for work for more than a year already. If ever there are opportunities, they seem to be being blocked.

If it could help you, these are usually times that God molds our character. Patience, trust, and faith in Him. Remember His promises, promises to prosper you and not to harm you. Also, if things are taken away from us to the point of emptiness, then we could be filled even more. Seek Him first, and all of is shall be added unto you.

How are you living day-by-day? How are you surviving?

Hang in there. When you are being stripped down, and being unemployed does that... it makes you realize what is the most important. It's not easy man, because we were created to work. Lord, I pray for your provision on the lives who seek you.
