Another thing, why is it we only hear about men turning into women in the news? statistically women becoming men are just as common. But as for the later no one says anything. Women have been pushing into mens territory for some time, from pants to suits to occupations and no one says anything...

yeah, as for shunning there's a difference between shunning the transgender group as a whole, and shunning the individuals on a case by case basis.

No argument from me regarding the fact that we receive the holy spirit as part of salvation. My only objection is if and how it's required to manifest itself to others. I'm not sure what mathew 18:16 and corinthians 13:1 have to do with this, It's pretty direct references to the jewish policy...
