Tank Dell is a wide receiver for the Houston Texans, an American Football team, and on December 21st, 2024, he had a horrible & horrific injury to his knee, tearing his ACL, MCL, LCL, hurting his kneecap and meniscus. He can walk, he's doing well, just please pray he fully recovers & that God has mercy on him. I pray he can play football again soon.

I know who Tank Dell is because I am familiar with his quarterback, C. J. Stroud. C. J. is a Christian who is not ashamed of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and he also has a pretty amazing backstory.

I say what follows not to criticize you, but to hopefully help you in your Christian walk. The Bible does not advocate prayers to saints. According to 1 Timothy 2:5, there is only one mediator between God and men, and that is the man Christ Jesus. Therefore, I would encourage you to pray to God through him, and through him alone.

Yes! I love C.J. Stroud. He's an incredible example of faith.
Thank you for sharing your thoughts on the quote. I understand your perspective, and I truly appreciate the reminder that Christ is our one mediator. At the same time, Revelation 5:8 mentions the saints in heaven presenting prayers to God, which is why many Christians believe they can ask for their prayers, just as we ask fellow believers to pray for us. They are people, but in Heaven. I think of the Saints as friends I can go to for prayers on certain situations, and I thought the prayer I posted above would show other people that too. I hope we can continue encouraging each other in faith! :giggle:

Revelations 5:8 - "And when he had taken it, the four living creatures and the twenty-four elders fell down before the Lamb. Each one had a harp and they were holding golden bowls full of incense, which are the prayers of God’s people."
