Trust the Lord. We have faith, but trust is the other stepping stone. Abraham was told he will have a Son with Sarah. He believed his wife more than what God said. He didn't trust that God would perform and fulfill his Words.
Hello @KALYNA18, when we were still unbelievers/outside of Christ, we were prisoners indeed, dead in our trespasses and sins .. e.g. Ephesians 2:1-3. But in Christ we have been set free from the power and penalty of our sins and are no longer children of wrath, but instead, children of the day, yes .. e.g. Romans 5:8-10; Romans 8:32; 1 Thessalonians 5:5

from Romans 5 verse 10 / John 8 verses 31b-32 / Ephesians 5 verse 8 / 1 Thessalonians 5 verse 5 / Romans 6 verse 18 / John 8 verse 36 ~ While we were God’s enemies, we were reconciled to Him through the death of His Son. “If you continue in My word, you are truly My disciples. Then you will know the truth, and the truth will set you free.” You were once darkness, but now you are light in the Lord. Walk as children of light. You are all sons of the light and sons of the day; we do not belong to the night or to the darkness. You have been set free from sin and have become slaves to righteousness. If the Son sets you free, you will be free indeed. Thank you for the inspiration, David!
