Mine is Psalms 1 !

Happy is the man
Who follows not the counsel of the wicked,
Nor takes his stand with sinners,
Nor sits among the scoffers,
But delights in the law of the Lord,
And day and night meditates on it.
For he is like a tree planted by streams of water,
Which yields its fruit in due season,
Whose leaf never withers,
And all that he does prospers.
Not so the wicked!
They are like the chaff driven by the wind.
So the wicked shall not rise up at the judgment,
Nor sinners where the righteous are gathered;
For the Lord directs the way of the righteous,
But the way of the wicked leads to ruin.

I took it in Children's Bible because it's more simply and easy for me to learn...

I chose this verses!
Because I see the difference between a followers in God
and an Non-followers !
I'm trying to understand all of this part of Psalms 1
I'm still doing efforts in my rhythm to put it in my daily routine...

was about to post the following - then saw how beautifully it answers this verse:

Psalms 42:1) As the hart panteth after the water brooks, so panteth my soul after thee, O God. 2) My soul thirsteth for God, for the living God: when shall I come and appear before God?

There is a river whose streams make glad the city of God,
the holy place where the Most High dwells.

(Psalm 46:4)

when?
He has come, and will make His home with us; He will never leave us - He reveals in due time His will for us

God is our refuge and strength,
an ever-present help in trouble.

(Psalm 46:1)

James 3:1) My brethren, be not many masters, knowing that we shall receive the greater condemnation.

The NIV says "teachers," in that many of us should not seek to become teachers, for we risk a greater condemnation if we lead astray another soul by mistakes in our teaching. That is a generalization of the meaning of the Scripture as I read it.

Pretty good advice in my opinion, and one reason I never claim to be a teacher, only a student and disciple of Christ.

In French is:
Vous me chercherez et
vous me trouverez,
parce que vous me
chercherez de tout votre cœur.

For me,
it's not so evident...
Once again,
I don't really know
how can I explain it in English!
Eh,to find God you must to
humiliate yourself and admit
you're a sinful and tell all your
fears,problems,tends, etc.
I'm shy in front of Jesus
because I'm conscious
he watches over me...

I have this verse that I keep accidentally turning to in my Bible and I wonder if God is trying to say something. It talks about woe to the people who make laws that are unjust and rob the widows, fatherless, ect. I imagine it's talking about local government of the time writing unjust laws, but is God trying to say something to me personally? Or something that is going to happen? Hm....

Psalm 62

For God alone my soul waits in silence;
from him comes my salvation.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]He alone is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be greatly shaken.[SUP]3 [/SUP]How long will all of you attack a man
to batter him,
like a leaning wall, a tottering fence?
[SUP]4 [/SUP]They only plan to thrust him down from his high position.
They take pleasure in falsehood.
They bless with their mouths,
but inwardly they curse. Selah

[SUP]5 [/SUP]For God alone, O my soul, wait in silence,
for my hope is from him.
[SUP]6 [/SUP]He only is my rock and my salvation,
my fortress; I shall not be shaken.
[SUP]7 [/SUP]On God rests my salvation and my glory;
my mighty rock, my refuge is God.

[SUP]8 [/SUP]Trust in him at all times, O people;
pour out your heart before him;
God is a refuge for us. Selah

[SUP]9 [/SUP]Those of low estate are but a breath;
those of high estate are a delusion;
in the balances they go up;
they are together lighter than a breath.
[SUP]10 [/SUP]Put no trust in extortion;
set no vain hopes on robbery;
if riches increase, set not your heart on them.

[SUP]11 [/SUP]Once God has spoken;
twice have I heard this:
that power belongs to God,
[SUP]12 [/SUP] and that to you, O Lord, belongs steadfast love.
For you will render to a man
according to his work

So,
I have some verses to post!
But to not be too much disturbed,
I'll post 2 verses!
And I'll explain what I think about them.

I have a cup to drink that it's written this verse.
And we must realize that without God we're
absolutely anything.
In current day, for me it's really difficult
to pray with faith and to let God lead us
to not fall down but to grow up spiritually..

I know that many people read Psalms 23
for sure! So I shared a verse this verse.
I know why people are never satisfied,
are never glad of anything,
are always searching false love,
are always searching party night bar,
are always searching moneys and more!
It's because they don't have or want to be close
to Lord and they don't apply this verse on their mind!

But, me too I'm not perfect,
and even if I ever want to keep trying to be,
that's impossible because only Jesus is kind.

Psalms 27:4 (KJV)
One thing have I desired of the Lord , that will I seek after; that I may dwell in the house of the Lord all the days of my life, to behold the beauty of the Lord , and to enquire in his temple.
