[Bible_Highlighter, post: 5534441, member: 327699"]Glad you got to the 1 hour and 50 minute mark. The video is long.
But yes, one of my own family members (now passed away) used to believe in the Christ consciousness. They wrongly believed that Christ lived in everyone and that all they had to do was tap into Him like the Force from Star Wars.
This point was actually brought up by my interviewer, Nick Sayers.
I did not include it in my free PDF (online book) because the Latin Vulgate (4th century) includes the word "magi," which is a transliteration of Greek to Latin/English. So, it is not a recent or new Westcott and Hort corruption.
But yes, I do see many modern scholars or pastors push the false belief that the wisemen who gave gifts to Jesus at His birth were pagan astrologers or Zoroastrian priests. The Greek word is μάγοι (magoi). As you know, Daniel was a person who could interpret dreams. It is possible that the wisemen interpreted dreams like Daniel, seeing that the wise men were warned by God in a dream not to return to Herod. This is what could have led to the wisemen being referred to as magi (which probably was more of a general term that could refer to anyone who had the ability to tell the future or discern things spiritually). So yeah, I do not buy the "wisemen were pagan" story by modern scholars or pastors. Nick suggested watching his video on this. I will check it out after I am finished doing the last touch-ups to my PDF.

I feel for you having a family member die like that. Please pray for me to be able to share the gospel with the nursing homes, prisons and encourage churches likewise. There seems like serious spiritual combat against the fruition of this ministry.
It will need to be put on hold as the pledges have not come through.
Personal bills need paid on two necessities immediately instead..
Please pray for the Lord's help here.
I plan to listen to you in segments.
The topic is important and you gleaned quite a lot of reasons why we have God's Word. I spent too many hours under a critical text proponent in the past.
That's what I believe about the wise men too.
