Let's discuss healing in the New testament

James 5:14-16 Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much.

There are some misconceptions from this verse so let's clear them up. "Is any sick among you? Let him call for the elders of the church". You may think this means that calling for the elders should be the first thing you should do. That is not correct, first you should go to the Lord and ask the Lord what is going on. Consider Job, he was sick, his friends came and counseled him and he felt the counsel was useless, not until Elihu spoke up did things begin to change. But it wasn't until the Lord talked to Job that he got better. If you have a good relationship with the Lord you should be able to ask why this or that has happened and get an answer. So, you call the elders when you are unable to get an answer from the Lord in your private prayer.

Second misconception, many think that sickness is a result of sin. But that is not what this says, it says "if he have committed sins". That is one possible cause.

Micah 6:13 Therefore also will I make thee sick in smiting thee, in making thee desolate because of thy sins.

This is why we need to call the elders. Paul told Timothy to drink a little wine and not just water for his frequent ailments. Sometimes our diet is the cause. Paul said that exercise profits a little, sometimes the issue is we need exercise.

Third, there is a difference between sins and faults, just as we have sin offerings and trespass offerings. Is it a sin to shoot a rabbit for dinner? No. But if you are poaching on someone else's land then it is trespassing. Are impure thoughts trespassing? No, but it is a result of your sin nature. If you have trespassed that needs to be confessed and properly dealt with. For example, let's say you have stolen something from someone. They don't know it was you. However, if you tell them it may make things worse, like poisoning a well. Instead it is possible the Lord would lead you to confess this to an elder, to return the item to the elder along with additional payment to make restitution. Then the elder goes to the person and lets them know that this was returned, as someone felt guilty and returned this to the elder for them to give to the person.

1Corinthians 11:28 But let a man examine himself, and so let him eat of that bread, and drink of that cup. 29 For he that eateth and drinketh unworthily, eateth and drinketh damnation to himself, not discerning the Lord's body. 30 For this cause many are weak and sickly among you, and many sleep.

Fourth, "pray for one another" may not refer to sins or trespasses. Perhaps the real issue is that you need wisdom. James begins this book saying that if you need wisdom ask God who gives liberally. In the world they give you drugs instead of wisdom. Suppose my child is doing poorly in school. What we really need is wisdom, but what they give you is Adderall.

Is there any mention of doctors or medicine? No.

Exodus 23:25 And ye shall serve the Lord your God, and he shall bless thy bread, and thy water; and I will take sickness away from the midst of thee.

According to the Bible if the land is full of sickness it is because they have stopped serving the Lord and thus they have cut off the blessing. For example, we don't think of relating these verses in James about anyone being sick to marriage. But the bible says "it is not good for man to be alone" indicating that a lot of mental illness can be caused by loneliness. What is the cure? The world will give you antidepressants, but the Lord would advise you to serve the Lord. I remember as a young person I loved to serve the Lord because there were a lot of other young people there too.

Deuteronomy 7:15 And the Lord will take away from thee all sickness, and will put none of the evil diseases of Egypt, which thou knowest, upon thee; but will lay them upon all them that hate thee.

This does not mean that sickness is not real. What it does mean is that if you are right with the Lord then all these sicknesses should be taken away from you. I am in my sixties and doctors are surprised when they learn I don't take any medication and never have taken any prescription medicine since getting saved. So then, if you are sick know that the Lord wants to talk to you about it. That is the bottom line. Maybe you need an adjustment in your diet, or exercise, or perhaps you need to get involved in a ministry, perhaps the problem is the TV, maybe it is sins, or trespasses.

2 Samuel 12:15 And Nathan departed unto his house. And the Lord struck the child that Uriah's wife bare unto David, and it was very sick.

In this case the child was sick but it had not committed sins, it was David and Bathsheba that had sinned and trespassed. Here we learn a lot, the child was sick because God wanted to talk to David. In the end David confessed, repented and was forgiven. But he was not forgiven by Ahithophel and so this led to his son committing insurrection against David, his concubines being abused, and his son dying. There are consequences to sin. Another time David numbered the children of Israel but not in accordance to the law and it resulted in a plague.

1Kings 8:37 If there be in the land famine, if there be pestilence, blasting, mildew, locust, or if there be caterpiller; if their enemy besiege them in the land of their cities; whatsoever plague, whatsoever sickness there be; 38 What prayer and supplication soever be made by any man, or by all thy people Israel, which shall know every man the plague of his own heart, and spread forth his hands toward this house: 39 Then hear thou in heaven thy dwelling place, and forgive, and do, and give to every man according to his ways, whose heart thou knowest; (for thou, even thou only, knowest the hearts of all the children of men 40 That they may fear thee all the days that they live in the land which thou gavest unto our fathers.

This is a promise to us, it is part of our covenant with God. Yet do you know what many Christians say, they think that first you go to the doctor, and then by all means you can pray also. This is not an expression of fear of God. That advices is completely contrary to both the Old Testament and New Testament. If you are sick or suffering from a plague on your family or business you first go to the Lord. If you can't get through you call the elders and they can fellowship with you and try to figure out the issue. It is possible that the elders will advise some remedy like Paul advising Timothy to take a little wine. Also it is possible that God will not heal you, just as He told Paul "my grace is sufficient for thee". Sometimes the illness is to keep us humble, which is what Paul learned by going to the Lord.

Hezekiah was sick and the prophet told him he would die. He prayed, and God gave him another 15 years of life. But, during those years he revealed all the treasure in his kingdom to Babylonian spies and it led to Israel being carried off captive. So then, make sure you are praying that God's will be done. When Jesus was going to the cross He could have prayed for deliverance, but He said "not my will but thine be done".

Isaiah 1:5 Why should ye be stricken any more? ye will revolt more and more: the whole head is sick, and the whole heart faint.

Why all the mental illness in the US? It is because they have rebelled against the Lord.

Studies show a notable rise in the number of people reporting symptoms of anxiety and depression. A report by Harvard T.H. Chan School of Public Health indicated a significant increase in the number of U.S. adults reporting poor mental health between 2011 and 2022.

Why is the church sick? It is because they have stretched out their hands with scorners.

Hosea 7:5 In the day of our king the princes have made him sick with bottles of wine; he stretched out his hand with scorners.

Acts 28:27 For the heart of this people is waxed gross, and their ears are dull of hearing, and their eyes have they closed; lest they should see with their eyes, and hear with their ears, and understand with their heart, and should be converted, and I should heal them.

Do you want to be healed? Or do you simply want to cover up the symptoms? You can treat Venereal disease with drugs, but if you continue going to prostitutes and are engaged in fornication you are not healed. In order to be healed you must be converted and before being converted you must hear with your ears and understand with your heart.

Exodus 7:11 Then Pharaoh also called the wise men and the sorcerers: now the magicians of Egypt, they also did in like manner with their enchantments.

Daniel 2:2 Then the king commanded to call the magicians, and the astrologers, and the sorcerers, and the Chaldeans, for to shew the king his dreams. So they came and stood before the king.

From the time of Pharaoh kings and rulers have employed sorcerers. We have this twisted view that sorcery is superstitious and now that we have science we have done away with this. That is bogus and that is arrogant. The Bible refers to Pharmaceuticals as sorcery.

Jeremiah 27:9 Therefore hearken not ye to your prophets, nor to your diviners, nor to your dreamers, nor to your enchanters, nor to your sorcerers, which speak unto you, saying, Ye shall not serve the king of Babylon:

Jeremiah and Daniel were alive at approximately the same time, Jeremiah's ministry preceded Daniel's. Why would the King of Israel employ false prophets, diviners, dreamers, enchanters, and sorcerers? It is because God was judging Israel with sickness, plagues, worries, etc. He was doing this because they were not serving Him, they were not obeying His word and they were walking according to their own imagination. There is a promise that God will take away all these things from us if we are right with Him, if we are not right with Him He'll bring them on us to get us to repent and return to the path of righteousness. The very fact that Israel had all these things (false prophets, diviners, dreamers, enchanters, and sorcerers) was evidence that they had left the path of righteousness. Why do you think they call Disney world "the land of enchantment"? That is what many movies and tourist traps are trying to do. Why do you think we have false prophets? It is because we leave the word of God. If we are absolute to believe that the word of God is inerrant, then you don't open the door to false prophets. Once you leave the word you now need diviners and dreamers because you realize you are in darkness.

Malachi 3:5 And I will come near to you to judgment; and I will be a swift witness against the sorcerers, and against the adulterers, and against false swearers, and against those that oppress the hireling in his wages, the widow, and the fatherless, and that turn aside the stranger from his right, and fear not me, saith the Lord of hosts.

If you have no trouble believing that some people are adulterers, some swear falsely, some oppress hirelings, some oppress the widow and the fatherless, and many do not fear the Lord. Then how is it so hard to believe that this also applies to multinational pharmaceutical companies and the scientists that work for them? Did you know that it took at least 50 years to prove every vaccine that we mandate was safe and effective and that prior to finding one that passed there were several attempts that didn't. Not only so but all of the attempts that were proven to not be safe and effective all claimed they were until they were proven to not be. But for some reason people thought all that had changed with the Covid vaccine. Does that make sense? Is that logical? Have we all of a sudden done away with liars, cheats and scammers?

Revelation 21:8 But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and all liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.

Don't be fearful and unbelieving. When I was younger you did not see ads for drugs on TV. Then you saw Bayer children's aspirin ads. Now the airwaves on TV and the internet are packed with ads for drugs. The Bible likens these ads for this sorcery to whoremongers, someone selling whores. They are pimps. If you have heard about the junkets they take doctors on in order to get them to sell their drugs it is a very fitting description. You have a choice if you are sick, you can go to the Lord Jesus or you can go to a pimp.

We always hear that no one knows when the rapture will be. Of course the Lord never
said no one knows the year or the season, just the day and the hour. But suppose that
verse means “no one verse knows”. You see you can get one verse in Hosea that does
point to the year and you can get one verse in Amos that does point to the season and
one verse in Jeremiah that does point to the season. Now imagine each of these 108
Bible verses tell us something, none of them tell us “the day or the hour” but they each
narrow down the possible days and hours. In other words they could be a filter

Who is the Great Babylon

This Pdf goes through every verse in the New Testament and many in the Old referring to Babylon. I see which of the various interpretations fit. The main three are: Israel, Vatican and the US, though I also see if England fits any. I used to subscribe to the teaching of Darby and Watchman Nee on this, however, everyone should know that when they taught the US was not a superpower, Hollywood and Multinational corporations did not exist (true for Darby, Watchman Nee was around at the time of silent movies). The pandemic had not taken place and the apostasy in the US had not taken place. You could not compare the US to Sodom and Gomorrah at the time of Darby or Watchman Nee.

The Day of adversity is coming and that is when we'll see who is truly strong in the faith and who faints.

I imagine there were many Germans who said this concerning the Holocaust, but the issue is not whether or not you can escape man's court, the issue is whether you can escape God's court.

Why does the Day of the Lord come as a thief in the night to some Christians?

Proverbs 24:30 I went by the field of the slothful, and by the vineyard of the man void of understanding; 31 And, lo, it was all grown over with thorns, and nettles had covered the face thereof, and the stone wall thereof was broken down. 32 Then I saw, and considered it well: I looked upon it, and received instruction. 33 Yet a little sleep, a little slumber, a little folding of the hands to sleep: 34 So shall thy poverty come as one that travelleth; and thy want as an armed man.

Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.

Proverbs 25:1 These are also proverbs of Solomon, which the men of Hezekiah king of Judah copied out.

This is an excellent way to study the Bible at first. Do a hand copy of the Bible. When you copy something by hand it involves much more of your brain than simply reading it. All kings were required in the OT to make a copy of the Bible for themselves (I don't know how many did, but then look at how few of the kings were actually godly men who expressed a righteous God).

2 It is the glory of God to conceal a thing: but the honour of kings is to search out a matter.

There are glorious things hidden in the word just waiting for someone to search them out.

3 The heaven for height, and the earth for depth, and the heart of kings is unsearchable. 4 Take away the dross from the silver, and there shall come forth a vessel for the finer.

This is what happens during the tribulation. The Lord is removing the dross from the silver.

5 Take away the wicked from before the king, and his throne shall be established in righteousness.

So then how do you truly take away the wicked without snaring the innocent? The wicked try to frame people. They lie and they try to hide guilt.

6 Put not forth thyself in the presence of the king, and stand not in the place of great men: 7 For better it is that it be said unto thee, Come up hither; than that thou shouldest be put lower in the presence of the prince whom thine eyes have seen.

The goal is to be found worthy at the time of the rapture. At that point if you are called up that is far better than walking around as some great man of God for years only to be put lower before all at the time of the rapture.

Let us pray

Proverbs 26:24 He that hateth dissembleth with his lips, and layeth up deceit within him; 25 When he speaketh fair, believe him not: for there are seven abominations in his heart.

God, you are the one who tries the hearts and there is nothing hid from you. We pray you would speak to us and reveal the liars filled with hatred surrounding us.

26 Whose hatred is covered by deceit, his wickedness shall be shewed before the whole congregation.

Lord Jesus we remind you of this promise. You are the incarnated word of God, You are the faithful one, so we pray that those whose hatred is covered by deceit that their wickedness will be showed before the whole congregation.

27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

We pray that those who dug a pit will fall into the pit they have dug. We pray that those who have rolled a stone, intending it to fall on your people, we pray that stone would return to sender and fall on them.

28 A lying tongue hateth those that are afflicted by it; and a flattering mouth worketh ruin.

Shine a tongue on this lying tongue, shine a light on this flattering mouth.

Matthew 5:1-20 -- Ten verses that put a spotlight on the Apostasy

1 Now when Jesus saw the crowds, he went up on a mountainside and sat down. His disciples came to him,2 and he began to teach them.

I have been teaching high school science for a number of years and I have learned to teach the most important and most critical things first. These are the things that if we run out of time will not get cut from the curriculum. So when things get serious and you feel the pressure instead of going to last book of the Bible, it's a good idea to go back to the beginning. Not only are these critical lessons but they are also presented without any presumption that you have a solid foundation. When you read chapter 1 of Revelation it is as though every single verse is referencing some portion of the Bible. But these verses don't presuppose anything.

He said:3 “Blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

To be poor in spirit is to be without pride. You are nothing. When you are looking for a church do not gravitate to the one that "is something". Remember the way that leads to life is narrow and few there be that find it. These big, successful, thriving churches with huge budgets, they are usually the broad way that is leading to destruction.

4 Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.

Look for the church that is comforting those that mourn and avoid those that are congratulating themselves on how prosperous they are.

5 Blessed are the meek, for they will inherit the earth.

The opposite of meek is a bully. If a church is throwing their weight around, if they are well connected politically, avoid them. Do you want to be blessed by God or receive the wages of sin?

6 Blessed are those who hunger and thirst for righteousness, for they will be filled.

Out of the abundance of the heart the mouth speaks. If this person is hungering and thirsting for their favorite sports team to win, that will come out when they speak. Listen carefully to what they speak and you will learn what is in their heart.

7 Blessed are the merciful, for they will be shown mercy.

The opposite of showing mercy is to be ruthless. See how they treat the poor and less fortunate.

8 Blessed are the pure in heart, for they will see God.

The proper response when you come to a genuine church is to confess that God is in them and with them. What you will find with the apostasy is that those attracted to the apostate churches are not pure in heart. Some churches help you advance your career or help you make key connections with other members of the community.

9 Blessed are the peacemakers, for they will be called children of God.

Listen to how people are introduced to you at church. This person is so and so, this person works in such and such office. In other words they are telling you these people have key connections, that is how the world works. It is quid pro quo, you do a favor for them they will do a favor for you. That is not what you should be looking for. What you want is for people who are introduced to you as a brother or sister, you want to hear their salvation experience, you want to know them according to the Lord and not according to the flesh.

10 Blessed are those who are persecuted because of righteousness, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven.

Our natural inclination is to avoid persecution. Why would I want to attend a church that is being persecuted. But if it is because of righteousness then you definitely want to stand on the side of righteousness. The church is supposed to shepherd the sheep and protect them against wolves. If the church is being persecuted for the sake of righteousness it means they are doing what they are supposed to be doing.

11 “Blessed are you when people insult you, persecute you and falsely say all kinds of evil against you because of me. 12 Rejoice and be glad, because great is your reward in heaven, for in the same way they persecuted the prophets who were before you.

What a great word. Do you want to be blessed? Do you want to have the kingdom of the heavens? Do you want a kingdom of righteousness, do you want to see God, do you want to be called the children of God? How should you respond if people slander and insult you? I once met with this church and I had been there for months before I learned that some people called them "the Lord's Recovery". When I heard this I had already seen all the previous things indicating God was in their midst, but I had heard a lot of evil spoken against "the Lord's Recovery". It was a shock to me. The only advice I had ever gotten prior to that was to avoid the Lord's Recovery.

13 “You are the salt of the earth. But if the salt loses its saltiness, how can it be made salty again? It is no longer good for anything, except to be thrown out and trampled underfoot. 14 “You are the light of the world. A town built on a hill cannot be hidden. 15 Neither do people light a lamp and put it under a bowl. Instead they put it on its stand, and it gives light to everyone in the house. 16 In the same way, let your light shine before others, that they may see your good deeds and glorify your Father in heaven.

How does salt lose its saltiness? Why would someone put a light under a bowl? This is not the right way to respond to persecution. If people falsely say all kinds of evil against you is your response to hide your light? Do you wash away the salt from your speech? Do you stop showing mercy? Do you stop making peace? The only ones that object to the salt of the earth are the bacteria that are killed by the salt. So if you hear complaining about the salt, what you need is more salt, not less. The first thing the apostasy does is come in and tell you to remove the salt, it is driving away too many prospective Christians. This is why they don't talk about sin and hell. After that they will liken evangelizing to proselytizing and stop people from doing that. They'll have stupid, non biblical teachings about how you should preach the gospel by your living and not by your words. Jesus said we are witnesses, but they want you to be a mute witness. Then they will ridicule good deeds as "works salvation" as though anyone involved in ministry is deceived and trying to work for their salvation.

17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly I tell you, until heaven and earth disappear, not the smallest letter, not the least stroke of a pen, will by any means disappear from the Law until everything is accomplished. 19 Therefore anyone who sets aside one of the least of these commands and teaches others accordingly will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever practices and teaches these commands will be called great in the kingdom of heaven. 20 For I tell you that unless your righteousness surpasses that of the Pharisees and the teachers of the law, you will certainly not enter the kingdom of heaven.

The apostasy refers to the people of God falling away from the word of God and from His commands. It refers to a time when people will set aside the commands of the Lord and teach others accordingly. The rapture cannot come until there is a falling away first, this is so that there is a clear distinction between the faithful servants and the unfaithful ones. Thyatira is where Satan has set his throne, it is a big temple that claims to speak for God. They tolerate the woman Jezebel who calls herself a prophetess and teaches the Lord’s servants to worship idols and commit fornication. The Lord calls it the “synagogue of Satan”. When you set aside the commands of God and teach others also you are one with God’s enemy. However, when the rapture comes and the Lord takes the church in Philadelphia those who are in the synagogue of Satan will come and worship at their feet confessing that God was truly in their midst. There is a contrast between Philadelphia, the meek ones and Thyatira the overbearing ones. A contrast between those who are poor in Spirit, knowing only what the Lord tells them and those who know better than God and know which laws to keep and which they can set aside. There is a contrast between those who are mourning, having suffered in this lifetime, and those who lived in luxury during this age. How can your righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees? You need to show mercy. As you have done it will be done to you. You judged others with mercy, you also will receive mercy at the judgement. How can we see God? Your heart must be single, no worshipping of idols, no mixture with the world. Then when they insult you and say every evil thing about you falsely you can give thanks and praise to the Lord that you have been found worthy to suffer for His name in this age. You know that your reward will be great in that day when the Lord comes.

Imagine what happens when the restrainer steps aside.

My Children Aren't Ready: Time Ends 6-26-25@2:22 PM

There is a lot of discussion about jubilee years so let's clear up this confusion.

1. the 70th week of Israel is the last 7 years of this age, what Christians call "the tribulation".

2. The way you calculate a jubilee year is you count seven weeks of years, or 49 years, the 50th year is the jubilee year, it is also the first year of the next set of seven weeks of years. So ten jubilees is not 500 years, it is 10x49+1= 491. Ten jubilees or 490 years +1 = 70 weeks of years +1. So the year following the tribulation or the 70th week is the Jubilee year.

3. This means the rapture is not on a jubilee year and there is no jubilee year until we get to the Millennial reign.

4. So why is the 69th week when Jesus gets crucified and the 70th week is around 2,000 years later? Jesus said we are to forgive 70x7 times. Jubilee year is when you forgive a debt after seven times seven times. If you multiply that by ten then it is the completion of forgiveness. The 70th week is the completion of forgiveness. However, God is forgiving the nations and Israel and He has to first offer them forgiveness, that is the redemption of Jesus. When was the forgiveness of Jesus offered to the nations? That would be in 70 AD when the temple was destroyed and the gospel was spread to the four corners of the earth. So then 4 x 490 +1 = 1961. Add 1961 to 70 and you get 2031. You can argue that this will be 2030 AD on the 9th of Av when the period of forgiveness is over, however, it wasn't until 71 AD that Rome celebrated this victory, so there is a little wiggle room here.

5. However, the clock begins on the 9th of Av, that was when, according to tradition, man fell, and it was definitely when the temple fell in 70 AD. Hence we can expect Armageddon on the 9th of Av beginning in 2030 and culminating in 2031. Yes, I know the defeat is swift, but we are told all the nations are gathered against Israel. Look at how Roman Empire was gathered against Israel for many months before the 9th of Av. It is going to be a horrible seige. So yes, once the war goes kinetic it can be over very quickly, but prior to that it could be months or even a year. This gives people time to repent and turn to the Lord.

6. So then, why is there a gap from when Jesus was crucified in the 69th week until 70 AD when the gospel went to the nations? This is the 40 year period known as the sign of Jonah. Some assume this means that Jesus was crucified in 30 AD but that would not work as it would mean 40 years and five months. No, Jesus proclaimed that the Jews had committed the unforgivable sin on the 9th of Av in 30 AD, that would be exactly 40 years to the day to when the temple was destroyed. The Jews asked Him for a sign when He did this and He said that they would get the sign of Jonah. The unforgivable sin was when the Jewish leaders officially proclaimed that Jesus was not the Messiah but was doing all His signs by Beelzebub, the prince of the demons.

7. When the Jews left Egypt their spies gave an evil report two years in, as a result it was just another 38 years until they could go into the good land. I would argue that Jesus was crucified 38 years before 70 AD with the true day of Pentecost being equivalent to Joshua and Caleb giving the good report on the 8th of Av. Therefore Jesus was crucified in 32 AD.

8. Israel became a nation again at Midnight on May 14, 1948. This was just like Passover, where they ate the meal in the evening and began the exodus in the morning. May 14 would not be Passover, it would be second Passover. Why did some Jews miss the first Passover? Because they were defiled by their dead religion and the rebellious religious leaders which Jesus described as this evil and adulterous age. On May 14, 2029 Israel would turn 81, according to the prophecy in Psalm 91 prior to turning 81 they will be saved. This indicates that the two witnesses will be killed on Passover in 2029, they will lie in the streets for three days and a half days and then are raised before all. This will cause the Jews to finally repent and confess that Jesus is Lord saying "blessed is He that comes in the name of the Lord". So they miss Passover because they were not sanctified, but just like the story with Hezekiah they will celebrate 2nd Passover in 2029.

9. This means that the seven year tribulation begins 3 1/2 years before Passover in 2029, that is Tishrei of 2025. On Feast of Trumpets we'll have the trumpets announcing the coming of the king. The counterfeit Christ, the Antichrist, may use that time to announce his counterfeit kingdom. Probably when he will confirm the peace covenant for seven years. This will be when the man of sin is revealed.

10. Therefore the rapture is before this. According to Ken Peter's dream he described the period of time as at least three weeks. At this point it is hard to say when, I would think sometime between the 8th of Av and a month later. If the Jews calendar is to be believed it is between August 2 and September 2.

The Sabbath and the Day of the Lord

Exodus 16:29 See, for that the Lord hath given you the sabbath, therefore he giveth you on the sixth day the bread of two days; abide ye every man in his place, let no man go out of his place on the seventh day.

These seven days are a type and shadow of six thousand years and then the one thousand years for the millennial kingdom. So then, on the last one thousand years we are going to get bread for two days, both for the day we are in and for the millennial kingdom. This bread are our testimonies, just like when Jesus spoke to the woman at the well and told the disciples He had bread that they knew not of. There are many testimonies that have gone into books, and there are many testimonies that we know not of. We will enjoy those during the Millennial kingdom. This is also telling us that the last seven years called “the tribulation” will help us double our testimonies.

Exodus 35:3 Ye shall kindle no fire throughout your habitations upon the sabbath day.

This does not mean that the Jews were cold and shivered on the sabbath day, it means the fires had be be kindled on the sixth day and kept burning for the seventh. Do not wait until the Millennial kingdom to kindle your fire for the Lord.

The day of the Lord is the day of His wrath, obviously that cannot be on the seventh day, that would be against the Law. Also on the day of the Lord the fire of the Lord will be kindled, again, cannot be on the seventh day. Both of these things must take place before the 6,000 years ends.

It is also perfectly reasonable to say that the 4th day ended with the crucifixion and burial of Jesus. According to Paul when Jesus rose from the dead it was the new creation. That would mean it must be a new day according to Genesis 1. So then the 5th day began with the resurrection of Jesus.

Let's look at the gap from when Jesus was crucified to when the temple was destroyed

Leviticus 23:15 And ye shall count unto you from the morrow after the sabbath, from the day that ye brought the sheaf of the wave offering; seven sabbaths shall be complete: 16 Even unto the morrow after the seventh sabbath shall ye number fifty days; and ye shall offer a new meat offering unto the Lord.

Six thousand years and 49 years are not two common factors. The math does not work out that six thousand years of human history is going to automatically conclude with a Jubilee year. So what gives? The Jubilee year is a release from slavery. When man was first created he wasn’t in slavery, it wasn’t until he fell that he went into slavery and at that time God gave the limit of 120 years. 120 x 49 = 5880. But when we read Genesis 1 there is no mention of days until the earth became waste and void. So the start of this six thousand years would be the fall of man, and the six thousand years is the period of time necessary to recover the fallen situation. We can divided that period into 120 segments of 50 years each.

What is interesting is if we go 40 x 50 years from the covenant Abraham made with God which depicted Jesus going through the crucifixion, then we come to Jesus Crucifixion. But if it is 49 x 80+1 then it goes to the birth of Christ! On the other hand for the nations if we are looking at 40 x 50 that would be 2,000 years from the cross of Christ to the Millennial Kingdom. But if we are using 49, then 40 x 49 +1 = 1961 years from the destruction of the temple to the Millennial kingdom.

So we also see the same gap in Isaac's history. If we compare Isaac being born, the promised blessing, that would be analogous to Jesus rising from the dead as the New creation and breathing into His disciples the Spirit as the promised blessing. 39 years later Isaac marries Rebekah when he is 40. What was the final nail in the coffin to the Old Covenant, wasn't it the destruction of the temple and the Lord going to Gentiles to make the Jews jealous? It took those forty years to get the ministry of Peter, Paul, James, Jude, Matthew and John. But once we had that we had something that could replace the Jewish religion.

Babylon Prepare To Face Your Judgment 6-27-25@9:55 AM

Many have been looking into the day of the rapture, but I think we have misunderstood. What we should be doing is looking into the day of judgment on Babylon for the apostasy.

The word apostasy means to depart from the faith. That is the first mention when in Acts it talks about departing from Moses. The church that epitomizes the apostasy is Laodicea, they are ruled by the laity. In other words, if there is something in the Bible they don't like, they simply ignore it. They have departed from Jesus being their Lord, they are "independent". So then, independence day represents a nationwide holiday celebrating apostasy.

The reason I am looking for a holiday is that one prophecy says that the Lord will make our holiday into mourning. It is not His holiday but our holiday. Then when Samson pushes out the pillars it is during a holiday, they are all in the idol temple celebrating. When Moses came down from the mountain and discovered Israelites involved in an orgy they were celebrating a holiday, but it wasn't one of the feasts of the Lord.

Then there is a reason why God does things on these feast days because it has meaning. You want to let people know what you are disgusted with, well if you are disgusted with Apostasy you would do it on a holiday celebrating the departure from the king.

Why do terrorists attack the twin towers or the Pentagon? Because these buildings have meaning. In the same way if you are going to have a massive attack that will bring down the USA what better day to do it on than on Independence day. It makes a statement.

When the leader of North Korea said he was going to give the US a Christmas present I think many misunderstood. The USSR fell on Christmas day and the US saw that as a "Christmas present". That was very insulting to Putin, so if the US falls it will be a Christmas present to Russia. But he said it was for the US because since they celebrated the fall of the USSR as a Christmas present then with the same measure you measured it will be measured to you.

What hinders me from being baptized?

Acts 8:36 And as they went on their way, they came unto a certain water: and the eunuch said, See, here is water; what doth hinder me to be baptized?

Philip preached the gospel to the Ethiopian and this was his response. Today there is so much emphasis on the blood of Jesus that it seems if you mention how important baptism is they see it as heresy. Jesus sacrifice on the cross is compared to the Passover lamb that Israel ate before leaving Egypt. If you did not have the blood of the lamb on your door the avenging angel would have killed your firstborn. Yes, protection from the Avenging angel has nothing to do with baptism and is solely the result of the blood. However, after Israel left Pharaoh and his army chased them, it was when they crossed the red sea, a type of baptism, that they were truly separated and safe from Pharaoh and his army. To come out from Egypt and to be separate is a big thing in the Bible. The word sanctify means to be separate. We are sanctified by God when we are separated from the world unto God. When you read your bible or go to a church meeting, in those cases you are seprated unto God and you are being sanctified by the Holy Spirit. This does not save you from hell. On the other hand you cannot be a priest unto God until you are sanctified. In order to serve the Lord and to be fellow citizens of the saints in the light you need to be separated from the world unto the Lord and that process begins with baptism. This verse from the Ethiopian is a normal response to being saved, "what hinders me from being baptized"? What is stopping me from serving the Lord? Before you were a sinner, but now you have been redeemed and forgiven, washed in the blood, so nothing is stopping you.
