Hi everyone.

I’m looking to boost my metabolism naturally and am curious about metabolism supplements. Have any of you tried supplements that genuinely helped increase your metabolic rate or supported weight loss? I recently came across a product called Mitolyn and wonder if anyone has experience with it.

I’m interested in something safe with minimal side effects, ideally something backed by science. Also how did you incorporate it into your routine (timing, dosage)? Any advice on what to avoid would be great too. Open to hearing about vitamins, herbal options, or other popular products.

Thanks in advance! Looking forward to your insights!

Hello Mekajen, I a sorry nobody has responded yet! You bring up a few concerns in your OP, and I do not feel qualified to address them all, especially those regarding weight loss, but I did just want to mention that gut health is fairly important, and probiotics are often recommended for that to keep the "friendly flora" in good balance and fully functioning. Do you take an excellent multi-vitamin supplement? Some brands have extremely low doses, which is why I ask. I would take ne that has at least 50 mgs of the major B vitamins, as opposed to much less, and a broad spectrum of other vitamins and trace elements. I also wanted to mention Vitamin B3 in its more rare form of Niacin. Niacin is often replaced with Niacinamide or nicotinic acid because Niacin has what can be a somewhat unpleasant side-effect of casing a heat rash when it does what I recommend it for, which is improving blood circulation via a process called vasodilation. It causes the release of prostaglandins, which are chemicals that help blood vessels widen, improving blood flow and reducing blood pressure. Your OP thread title made me think of circulation right away.

Some well-supported metabolism-friendly supplements include green tea extract (specifically EGCG), L-carnitine, and caffeine in moderate amounts. B-complex vitamins, like Magenta mentioned, also support energy production at the cellular level. If you're curious about Mitolyn, definitely check for third-party testing and transparency in labeling, some brands throw in under-dosed ingredients and call it a day. Personally, I space out my B-complex and any metabolism boosters in the morning with food to avoid jitters or stomach upset.

Green coffee beans, 1/4 tsp. broken up a little and washed down, contain chlorogenic acid, which will boost the metabolic rate for about 3 hours.

Are you interested in weight loss mainly, or boosting metabolism?

A lot of people gain weight easily by eating glutens found in grains.
If you want to look like I did at 6 years old to play Santa in a Christmas play, make sure to eat breakfast cereal, wheat bread and pasta.
I was called Fatso and all kinds of f(l)attering names.
Even though I didn't eat more than anyone else, some adult family members even said that" I looked disgusting."

There's no one size fits all diet any more than a waist size.
I do nutritional consultations for weight loss outside of the forum.
I will give you this which should help since it applies to most people and you won't likely find a medical Dr who will tell you this:. However they will be more than happy to Rx a dangerous drug for weight loss.

Interested?

Green tea. Good for about everything. Herbal teas are good as well. Ginger Lemon is one of my favorite herbals. It contains probiotics. Turmeric teas atr good also.
