Simply: Any outward act is a work, and WB replaced circumcision as the rite following/portraying preceding inward faith/SB,
which is the condition for forgiveness of sins made justly possible because of Christ's atonement. (Other outward signs of WB
include the list in Gal. 5:22-23, with love being primary per Jesus in John 13:35.)
So your saying, correct me if I'm wrong.
Being baptized is a outward act that is a work, and it replaces circumcision and comes after haing faith with fills you with the Holy Ghost. IS THAT RIGHT?
AND with that, that is how our sins are forgiven because of Christ atonement.
And then you share these three verses.
Galatians 5:22-23
22 But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, longsuffering, gentleness, goodness, faith,
23 Meekness, temperance: against such there is no law.
John 13:35 By this shall all men know that ye are my disciples, if ye have love one to another.
NO IDEA the porpuse of those scripturs but they are good and ALL of them are.
If that is correct back up what you say with HIS WORD.
1. Show me where being baptized is a work.
2. Show me where it replaces circumcision.
3. Show me where faith give us the Holy Ghost.
If you can't then that is NOT OF GOD and just your opinion.
