We know that Satan copies the things God has established, such as teaching a false grace, false faith, no works, no commitment, false spiritual gifts, etc. As Christians we strive to get the right doctrines established in our hearts to please God.
However, psychologically, we can get so tired of hearing false doctrines that we get burned out on the true ones & lay them aside never to consider or teach them again. Because of this, the true doctrines lose their effectiveness because we no longer teach them.
For example, in my early years I would get so mentally worn out of hearing about all these prophecy conferences & false prophets spewing their garbage that I didn't want anything to do with prophecy at all. What I didn't understand is that was what Satan wanted to accomplish! He wanted to spew so much prophetic misinformation to either fool us to believe it or turn away from the real doctrine by being tired of hearing it!
Has this happened to you? Please tell us your story. If this is an eye opener to you let us know. I believe it’s important to see how much this has happened to see the damage Satan has done to the church.

Lately, there seems to be much less faith in miracles among Christians. It’s not just about prophecies, its also entertaining angels, visions, dreams, or hearing God’s voice—things like speaking in tongues and other spiritual gifts are often met with suspicion or doubt.

Many believers who have genuine encounters with God feel afraid to share them because, as soon as they do, people respond with spirit of disbelief. This means that for the most part its crazies coming forward. while true testimonies remain quiet or are shared online only when necessary. Even close friends sometimes struggle to believe, and sometimes the person who experienced it starts doubting the reality of what happened years later. This doubt can be seen as a tactic of the enemy.

Such spiritual experiences were much more common a hundred years ago, perhaps because people had fewer distractions and were more spiritually focused. However God has not changed—so it us who have changed.

I want to change that, I have never seen Jesus say that miracles will ever be done away with in fact he said specifically that if we ask we will recieve if we believe we will see the hand of God not in those exact words but yes he speaks of what God can do if one is only willing to believe.
I can attest that many do not speak of their spiritual encounters or experiences or even some miracles because it is met with disbelief or suspicion.

However if the word of God is truly alive and if Jesus said it then IK see no reason why we cannot live it why we cannot bring it forth to be a testimony to glorify the father.
in my thread of Christian mysticism it was met with a lot of suspicion and many had plenty to say of why without trying to understandd what Christian mysticism is.
If I speak of a vision or a prophetic word I recieved I am met with the same spirit of suspicion and doubt when we are told in scripture to seek to prophecy but many do not do this for the exact reason of the op
This is what the enemy wants he wants us to close our ears to prophesy and to shut our lips to speak forth a prophetic word he has silenced many because of this.

Again this is something I want to change I want to seek the truth and not just believe it and know it but to bring it forth into our reality so that God can awaken the church create that immense fire in ttheir souls that the church once was.

We should be walking in the spirit everyday not just having the spirit but walking in it bringing God's kingdom forth

Spiritual disunity was a problem from the beginning, which is why Jesus said people would recognize genuine Christians by their love (John 13:35) and prayed for unity in John 17:20-23.

Yes and it requires that we do this in our every word and action a burning fire inside that leads our every step we take.

We must pray fervently for this unity and love to rekindle the body of Christ

Amen bro!

And regarding burnout, a person who believes cosmaterialism, moral nihilism and that life’s struggles are meaningless
frequently tends to seek escape even via suicide, whether by one act or by a downward spiral of self-destructive behavior.
Until/unless atheism were somehow proven beyond doubt, moralism or viewing life as meaningful and hoping for heaven
via accepting Christ as Lord seems to be the better belief.

in his Love and mercy given us all first. Not easy, no! to do is not possible for any flesh nature to do other than Son's that is done for us all first\, at least from the view God gives us all to see as true. As many times as I have as well gotten tripped up in stuff, here on earth also, making doctrines out of verses that are not line after line, precept after precept and not seeing the truth in that deception, be a person better than others as in Luke 18:9-14
There is only one Doctrine, the risen Christ after a one time willing death for us all first, to believe between God and you, personally each. Then collectively together
Yet the evil has entered here on earth with deceptions
2 Corinthians 11:14
And no marvel; for Satan himself is transformed into an angel of light.

Creating Johnny do-gooders, getting people worried over to do good and then talk between one another have I done good too. looking for rewards and wanting to get given rewards and get them and not get them from others, so we have many religions since.

1 Corinthians 3:4
For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal?

I see what "Itching ears means" now. When God has given us everything needed for new life in his risen Son Jesus's Life to simply love all. Which is anyone and everyone, myself included. Which keeps me in my first born flesh and blood working at it. I am not seeing new from Father's, Daddy's, PaPa's view am I or you? maybe, it Might be time to turn to God personally and close the closet door and tell God whatever it is you know you need. Telling, God truth and then say nevertheless not my will but your will Father be done not mine or this world's.
Thank you, for your gift of new life Spiritually in risen Son, I can now rest medicine and stop the worrying, that this world does constantly over anything and everything. which brings out sin in anyone and everyone getting put under Law first. Not seeing g to uphold Law as good to rejoice in you Daddy, as David saw in Psalm 1:1-4 Delighted in the Law, a not have to do, a delight to do, there is a difference. Then evil sees you delighting and finds any way possible to get anyone to deny God in the process to learn new daily, Gets people caught up in the self to do and then God is not leading them, even though each person thinks oh yes God is. When deception of self to be good has decided one (Adam) and many since, trying. to be like God

I know "I" can't. I have let go of myself anyone else
Galatians 6:9
And let us not be weary in well doing: for in due season we shall reap, if we faint not.
Philippians 3:1
Finally, my brethren, rejoice in the Lord. To write the same things to you, to me indeed isnot grievous, but for you it is safe.
Philippians 3:2
Beware of dogs, beware of evil workers, beware of the concision.
Philippians 3:3
For we are the circumcision, which worship God in the spirit, and rejoice in ChristJesus, and have no confidence in the flesh.

Why are we the people trying to do what no other flesh can do that is done by Son for us to do?

No flesh other than Son's Flesh could ever please Father, not even animal sacrifice could as revealed to me in Hebrews 10 to us all to see, as Father allows it for each of us as his Children to see it on cue in. Father's timing for each person as we each grow in different stages, with no one better than anyone else Romans 14:1-4
You are seeing through the veil, thank you God loves us all, even those in failure unwilling and willing to do as they each choose, I see and am in trust to God over it all, thanks for the revealing post and I see to not pull out the tares, waiting for God's call and trust God all in all.

When I was a child growing up the message was fire and brimstone and I can remember Revivals, altars filled, people in wheelchairs getting up and never using them again, broken bones healed before your very eyes, medical reports of cancer just disappearing, and much much more.

Now progress into time 30 years and the past 20 years the message has changed to Grace. Today you won't see the Altars filled, hardly anyone is being healed because they're hooked on medications and scientific data.

It's the message that has changed is the problem.

To the sinner, they are in danger of fire and brimstone. Since that message is no longer preached no one believes they need to be saved because of this Grace that's being spewed out.

I believe if there's going to be a last days Revival like I participated in and was common for the first 15 years of my life the message will be fire and brimstone as it should be.

Yes the message has changed, but not what you think. The grace you're talking about is not grace at all because it's not God's grace.
God's grace was poured out during those old messages, not the misinformation we're hearing today.
Also, the falling away is increasing in leaps & bounds simply because God planned it to happen. Our Father is preparing this world for a final reckoning to answer to Him for all their sins He can no longer put up with.
Come quickly, Lord Jesus.

Because of abuse by the hands of very outspoken Christian relatives, I was taught by my parents to be very wary of the overtly spiritual. As I grew older I sought out teachers who were known to be "bible-believing". These were mostly Baptists and other conservative churches. Yet, when I grew in wisdom, I noticed there were some portions of scripture that they could not square with their beliefs. Many of them were hostile towards me for even asking for deeper explanations. In my mind, a person of God should be able to handle the most difficult questions.

So, I moved on.

It goes without saying I spent much of my early adult life wondering if I was simply wrong. "Everyone else seemed to be settled in their ways and I was still searching for something I could not find." Thankfully I was married to my lovely wife who also saw things the way I saw them. She said something to me that settled me:

"Hon, we'll just have to be content to be odd ducklings. But it's okay because God put us together."

Of course this was a reference the the Ugly Little Duckling story where a baby swan got accidentally mixed into a clutch of baby ducks.

In the end, I was able to see the Lord's hand on my life in all steps of my journey ("The steps of the righteous are ordered") and I finally was able to connect to other odd ducks only to find that there are many of us all over the world.

“However, psychologically, we can get so tired of hearing false doctrines that we get burned out on the true ones & lay them aside never to consider or teach them again”

it sort of has the opposite effect on me when I’m m discussing and I run into things I Perceive ( just my opinion ) to be false , it makes me go to the word and find out the places that tell us the right thing that’s opposite of the false idea

sometimes people haven’t heard the right thing but others told them the wrong thing so that’s what they think but if you can make a good argument for the right thing , rather than attacking them for the wrong thing , they’ll consider the right thing

I do not see a last day revival before the Tribulation because there is no unity between christians on prophecy.

Spiritually Burned Out.

Why, when you asked for the gift of prophecy are you patient or ask and seek your own reasoning. Everything can be known and I say everything because you believe the lies spread by fellow christians.

Do you talk to the Lord?? I have seen in my personal life it has taken sometimes 30 years for the pieces come together on a subject.
You say you know the Lord! And yet you have idols! Take Santa Claus for example. Lie to your children. Make him a God by saying he knows whether you are naughty or good--------

In 10 weeks most of you are going to get a wake up call

I've been in your shoes teaching a home Bible study some yrs ago. Trying to do all the right things, say all the right things. Attending studies myself. Staying up late hrs praying and preparing. Plus family matters to resolve gets you pretty stirred up. Along with holding down a job. Finding a balance is key but hard to do.
Then the Lord showed me what I was doing wrong. I WASNT TRUSTING HIM.
I got caught up with putting out all the fires I could and being that guy to every one around me. I placed the burdens on my self rather than on Christ.
