Matthew 9,13: "I will have mercy, and not sacrifice".

Matthew 20,34:"So Jesus had mercy on them, and touched their eyes"

Mark 6, 34:"And Jesus, when He came out, saw much people, and was moved with mercy toward them"

Psalms 51

15 O Lord, open thou my lips;
and my mouth shall shew forth thy praise.
16 For thou desirest not sacrifice; else would I give it:
thou delightest not in burnt offering.
17 The sacrifices of God are a broken spirit:
a broken and a contrite heart, O God, thou wilt not despise.

John 6:63) It is the spirit that quickeneth; the flesh profiteth nothing: the words that I speak unto you, they are spirit, and they are life.

[h=3]Philippians 3:10-11[/h]Authorized (King James) Version (AKJV)

[SUP]10 [/SUP]that I may know him, and the power of his resurrection, and the fellowship of his sufferings, being made conformable unto his death; [SUP]11 [/SUP]if by any means I might attain unto the resurrection of the dead.

Matthew 28:19) Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost:
20 .) Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.

It just seems as if so many Christians do not have a full understanding of these words from Jesus........sadly.

Luke 21:1) And he looked up, and saw the rich men casting their gifts into the treasury.
2 .) And he saw also a certain poor widow casting in thither two mites.
3 .) And he said, Of a truth I say unto you, that this poor widow hath cast in more than they all:
4 .) For all these have of their abundance cast in unto the offerings of God: but she of her penury hath cast in all the living that she had.

Ephesians 5:2 and walk in love, as Christ also hath loved us, and hath given himself for us an offering and a sacrifice to God for a sweetsmelling savour.

It seems to me that no one can love past what they believe they are loved? or forgive past what they believe they are forgiven of or not?
I found this true with me, is it true with any of you all? So is there a before and after the cross? one side we need forgiven and loved thereby, and can't be perfect?
The other side we are forgiven so we forgive and are loved so we love
I know which side I picked after had been stressed out for many a years, prior to seeing it is all God and none of us, anyway just something to think upon and ask God to reveal to you.

With New Year's Eve close at hand Psalm 90 in its entirety.

[SUP]1 [/SUP](...) Lord, you have been our dwelling place [SUP](*)[/SUP]
throughout all generations.
[SUP]2 [/SUP]Before the mountains were born
or you brought forth the whole world,
from everlasting to everlasting you are God.

(Psalm 90: 1,2 NIV)

[SUP](*)[/SUP] I prefer the translation: refuge

[h=3]Acts 3[/h]

19 Repent ye therefore, and be converted, that your sins may be blotted out, when the times of refreshing shall come from the presence of the Lord; 20 and he shall send Jesus Christ, which before was preached unto you: 21 whom the heaven must receive until the times of restitution of all things, which God hath spoken by the mouth of all his holy prophets since the world began.

Acts 28

30 And Paul dwelt two whole years in his own hired house, and received all that came in unto him,31 preaching the kingdom of God, and teaching those things which concern the Lord Jesus Christ, with all confidence, no man forbidding him.

Romans 12: 1 Do not conform to the pattern of this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind. Then you will be able to test and approve what God’s will is—his good, pleasing and perfect will.

Be it known therefore unto you,
that the salvation of God is sent unto the Gentiles,
and that they will hear it.

John 11:43 And when he thus had spoken, he cried with a loud voice, Lazarus, come forth.

You, you, you and you as well your name here come forth, new life in the Spirit is available right ere right now, if we believe God

John 10:10 The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.

John 3:3 Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God.

When did this take place or has it yet? do we not have a before the cross and after it?
John 11:24 Martha saith unto him, I know that he shall rise again in the resurrection at the last day.
John 11:25 Jesus said unto her, I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live:
Romans 6:5 For if we have been planted together in the likeness of his death, we shall be also in the likeness of his resurrection:
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, which according to his abundant mercy hath begotten us again unto a lively hope by the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead,

Romans 8

35 Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? 36 As it is written, For thy sake we are killed all the day long; we are accounted as sheep for the slaughter. 37 Nay, in all these things we are more than conquerors through him that loved us. 38 For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, 39 nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.

James 1

19 Wherefore, my beloved brethren, let every man be swift to hear, slow to speak, slow to wrath: 20 for the wrath of man worketh not the righteousness of God. 21 Wherefore lay apart all filthiness and superfluity of naughtiness, and receive with meekness the engrafted word, which is able to save your souls. 22 But be ye doers of the word, and not hearers only, deceiving your own selves. 23 For if any be a hearer of the word, and not a doer, he is like unto a man beholding his natural face in a glass: 24 for he beholdeth himself, and goeth his way, and straightway forgetteth what manner of man he was. 25 But whoso looketh into the perfect law of liberty, and continueth therein, he being not a forgetful hearer, but a doer of the work, this man shall be blessed in his deed. 26 If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man’s religion is vain. 27 Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world.
