Only gonna hit 82 today in NE Tennessee. Chance of brief shower later. For the past week the temp has been right around the 90 degree mark. Morning lows in the 70's. Very humid lately. Reminds me of Florida.

Oh, I know about the Bee Gees. It's not my kind of music, but I used to work overnight with a lady who listened to that kind of music. Whenever they would come on the radio, I'd hit their high notes. Mind you, I'm the world's worst singer, but when I'm feelin' it I can hit high notes pretty well. Music and laughter makes a night of work go by faster 💃
Bible says to make a joyful noise unto the Lord, he never said anything about being a perfect musician

NorthEast has been blessed with some 90+ degree weather in the past few weeks which i love, but a lot of people around here don't like hot weather.

I'll take some of this.
Back in 'muh' day when i was a kid, we used to play outside in 41 degree Celcius (which is like 110 Fahrenheit) and the asphalt on the street used to stick to our shoes because it was soft and melting from the heat. :D

A lot of humidity here too. It's miserable. You go outside and come back in feeling like you just jumped into the creek.

Humidity is indeed a problem in the costal regions but the closer you are to the oceans, the less it should be typically.
When i go to Fort Lauderdale in Florida, my wife and i take walks or do a light run at 3PM mid-day heat which is like 100 degrees down there.
There is nobody in the streets at that hour walking, and all the people from the air-conditioned cars look at us and saying: These damn tourists again.

Would they prefer the weather in Antarctica?
They do actually. In the winter people go out with shorts sometimes. Mainly the young crowd but even middle aged people. And they go out with shorts while it's snowing!
