Not anymore, Gideon300. After they rejected Jesus as the Messiah and prodded the Roman government to execute him, that was the final nail in their coffin in terms of their being considered God's chosen people. Scripture confirms that.

Let's get the facts straight. The jews did not reject Jesus. The pharisees of the time those who thought were in charge of the Jewish people. Rejected him.
This is one of Satan's biggest lies and caused alot of confusion and war.
Jesus adressed the pharisees as vipers, white wash sepulchers. Children of the devil.
As the church today struggle with exposing the wolves in our assembly so Jesus did the same then.
This lie is what has caused the separation between jew and gentile and has given satan a strong foot hold in the matter.

But in no way is God a covenant breaker. He will redeem and restore.
We as the church are to pray for Israel. To bless Israel, in so doing to be blessed.
Jesus said No man takes my life I lay it down. As he repeatedly asked the father to forgive them as well as us.
The temple authority and teachers taught obedience to the law would save them. Salvation of works.

You know why the Jewish people killed Jesus?Because they were predestined too.God set them aside to preform the duties and handing of the tabernacle in the OT.They would literally get blood on their hands sprinkling of the blood on the Ark of the Covenant.

For the ancient nations of Judah, Moab, Ammon, Samaria, Egypt etc. to exist today there must be a people with ties to that time and place. This is the house of cards that much of end times theology is based on.

I know of more than one ex Jewish person at my Church. It is in no way a Messianic Jewish Church. In, fact, it is more aligned with Amil belief than Dispensational belief.

Yes. Check out Professor James Tour, Messianic Jew and highly effective evangelist. He does not call himself a Christian as he sees it as an insulting name originating with unbelievers. He leads people to Christ every week. His key verse is Romans 10:9.

How many people were at the trial? All of Israel? I don't think so. A week before, the streets were lined with people shouting Hosanna. The trial was at night. That was illegal in those days. Very few people came out at night - it was not safe. The authorities made sure that only those they could rely on to reject Jesus were there.

Sure, a good many Israelites rejected Jesus. Many also had experienced miracles of healing and deliverance.

Ironic isn't it. They read that the Christ will receive the "throne of His father David" and conclude that it is in modern day Jerusalem.

Yet, David was not Jesus' nor Christ's father in the flesh. So right away we should know that it speaks of something other than a natural lineage or natural birthright. Yet, they maintain their traditions to assuage their emotions over the killing of 10s of thousands of Arabs at the hand of "God's people".

Good luck with that. How do you propose to obey all the commandments of Christ? I don't observe much love flowing out of you. I'd be working on that for a start.
