I was water baptized in the titles as well. However, once I became aware of exactly what Jesus commanded, I obeyed and was water baptized in His name. Why? Because it was Jesus Himself that was crucified to save my soul. And according to the Apostle Paul those who obey water baptism are being buried with who? Jesus! (Rom. 6:3-6)
And, I thank the Lord Jesus for revealing that water baptism is so much more than just a symbol. Obedience to the command brings about what God's word says; Remission of one's personal sins. Something Jesus made possible for all mankind through His crucifixion.

I noticed the above in your response here on CC. I am quoting it above, for the reason I see, might be getting you a little tripped up. You decide, between God and you personally.
You have for a long while been continuing in trust to God Father, and have been hearing it should be your time to get given what you expect, from your quote, after so long not quitting fully rewarded, when in. troubles you, we are already rewarded with life-everlasting. I hear that thought has crossed your mindset, should not you have gotten totally rewarded?
That thought is not your true thought. I see you are willing to wait no matter how long it might take. Yet, that is not you that thought I see you are attached to, from hearing it. You, decide if you are listening, even if from other flesh, that is trying to do the best for you. That is nit always good. I have done that in past also, Brother.
You claim God loves you right? and you got troubles here on earth. That are trying to win you over, and you decide, has got you depressed, when the thought says, you should have gotten by now haven't you?
Learn truth over error thought we all get in our walks. See Paul shipwrecked, beaten, bitten and the troubles he went through, even in Jail. As I see Paul did not quit and even gloried in his death. Places he said it would be better fro him to go and be with the Lord, yet not yet, we the people need help top learn truth over error of thought(s) that get in us, to discern them between God and us each personally
The thoughts I see goin g through you are not you Blain, the thoughts of despair over the troubles you are in and reaching. out for help, getting you into not waiting and people to come in and help. Might be why you got ripped off. That happened to me in the past also.
Love you through this. I know you in believe God no matter what troubles go on. Damn, just seeing your story, and God picking you up. Saying to you it will not be easy in your flesh body. Yet, in Phil 3:1-20 you can see it be worth it.
I trust you will be well in your soul, not your flesh as that be true with all men/women in belief too. True Love (1 Cor 13:4-7, 13) to us all from God going to that cross for us all in as Son, the exact representation of God fro us all first. Amazing grace without a flesh fight. As evil tries to make a fight out of anything and everything, tripping, up anyone it can in whatever thought it can get into anyone's mindset, for anyone to attach to it and worry over. to make them worry and expect stuff they think they shoved have gotten by now. I am nit good enough, no one is and is why God came here to earth as Son first. To reconcile us in god's Spirit and Truth, not of the flesh and blood, as you know this truth too

I require mercy over sacrifice. That be a Law to give mercy to give forgiveness, to love

Religion(s) are flesh and blood trying to do what is already done for us all by Son in Father's Spirit and Truth, the Holy Spirit. Claiming it is done by Son, but!, now we need to do it too. Good luck! since now flesh other than Son's ?(God in the flesh, the only one) could ever do it to begin with. Did it, and is risen from the dead for us all to give us (each that decide to believe) new life in the risen Christ. We get it, as long as no one gives up, no matter what troubles happen to us at least me., Thank you Father fro this Love in mercy, wow!
So, Jesus came here to earth as Son (Who is God in flesh) to reveal to us all God Father through his own actions and reactions for us all to see, and he got revealed as perfect by Father in his being risen from the dead, three days later. (Where he preached with Judas as witness) there in prison too, strategically placed there as the witness of Jesus to those held in captivity from day one in the fall of the first Adam, done by Satan. Then the resurrection. Where new life is offered in his resurrection, to us all to believe and see and be new without having to think it over at all. Born new is new, no need to ponder anymore, we have Father in us with the risen Son, the two are One, Won for us to stand new, in thank you, I need you, not the old me trying to do right. Wow woe is me Isaiah 6:1-7
Man flesh is still trying to do right and promotes we can't and gets others under their thumbs to control them to do. As was going on in the days of Jesus then.

Woe unto you, scribes and Pharisees, hypocrites! for ye compass sea and land to make one proselyte, and when he is made, ye make him twofold more the child of hell than yourselves.
Nothing, is new under the Sun. Yet Under The Son as risen we are made new and not of flesh and blood first birth anymore. As, I am in the process learning this truth too, thank you Father and all that finally choose to believe Father and Son and not self or others over Father and Son anymore, being still in unredeemed flesh and blood, trying to do what no other flesh can do
Thank you as we each grow unto maturity in Father and Son as Won (One) for us all at the resurrection, after he first abolished sin inmate flesh first to be new in the rise Son and say it is finished too as he did John 19:30 for s to be new in his risen Life given us by Father for us too. This is true, wow

I am no longer under Law (Romans 7) that you are not yet seeing and making up Laws to have to to get or else. Not good for my Soul and love you the same as God loves us all. Amazing grace from God I stand in thank you
Anyone can decide to be free, yet no one has to live like a refugee, under Law I was a refugee and now freed as in Col 2 thank you
