But you have not posted a verse that supports your claim the Jesus made the OT better. Jesus fulfilled the law and now we are not under the Mosaic law but we are under grace.
Just two from the book of Hebrew, alone.

Heb_8:6
But Jesus has now obtained a more excellent ministry, and to that degree he is the mediator of a better covenant, which has been enacted through better promises.

Heb_12:24
and to Jesus, the mediator of a new covenant, and to the sprinkled blood that speaks a better word than the blood of Abel.

Now you give scripture that supports your belief that your definition of fulfilled means done away with. I can give scripture that supports that Christ did not do away with the law. I would also like scripture that says that being under grace means that we are not to listen to law any more.

Actually you said Peter had a vision of grafting in the gentiles. His vision had nothing to do with the gentiles. It had to do with the concept of clean and unclean being over. Gentiles were considered unclean and it divided them from the Jews.
exactly and the result was a realization that Peter had was that the gentiles were to be (included, grafted in, added to the fold) anyway you want to look at it ends with the same result as the Gentiles were no longer to be considered unclean but rather added unto the household of faith...CAN ANY MAN FORBID.........

I do not see how those two verses make the OT better. Maybe you can show me.

And here is an article complete with verses on how Christ fulfilled the law and abolished the Mosaic Laws for us.
What does it mean that Jesus fulfilled the law, but did not abolish it?

Also look at the scripture listed at the bottom of my post.

Yes, that was the result. He could go into a gentiles home and even eat whatever food was offered.

This is a perfect example Danschance, how Judiezed Christianity has distorted the Gospel!

They teach that Christ made the Old Covenant better, it's insane!
but much love to all!

I can show you scripture that says that Christ made it better. That is the only better there is in scripture. I am not adding or TAKING AWAY from scripture, you are. God is eternal and not different. Christ is not a new God, Christ was at creation.
You can't because it doesn't say it. It doesn't matter how many times you call a lie the truth, it is still a lie.
I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and with the house of Judah: [SUP] [/SUP]Not according to the covenant that I made with their fathers in the day when I took them by the hand to lead them out of the land of Egypt...................In that he saith, A new covenant, he hath made the first old. Now that which decayeth and waxeth old is ready to vanish away....
Hebrews 8:8,9&13. A new covenant. Clear as day. Stop telling lies about what the scripture says.

I never said the OT was better, and if I did then I would not be reporting scripture correctly and I should be ignored or corrected. Scripture does not say the OT is better. We are to study the OT. The OT is scripture, breathed from God. Christ did make many things used in the OT that explained God better. The resurrection made the blood of animals much, much better, for instance. No matter what anyone says Christ meant when Christ explained law, Christ says he did not abolish law. It is not scripture. Christ made it so the law cannot kill us, without Christ it can. We are saved through the mercy and grace of God, not by the works we do. We are to be obedient. These things are scripture and the truth, makes no difference what any man says about them.

Christ Jesus did not abolish the Law or do away with it, redtent you are correct!
But, Christ did abolish the law and the prophets in Himself!
He fulfilled the Law and the Prophets, they are no more!
They were absorbed in Him!
Therefore we have our life and being, IN CHRIST!
And yes the OT is Scripture that we should study, I agree!

You can do all that, but you can't fill your mind with dirt. And you are not to judge me as doing wrong because I use not eating these things as a symbol to myself of what I am not to fill my mind with. Paul says I do that because I am weak, so you can judge my weakness.

You are the one telling lies. I never, ever, said that we do not have a new covenant. I said that we must learn from the old covenants, and we must study scripture enough to know what is eternal and what Christ made better so the old one vanishes, so we are to use Christ now. You lie about the old covenants. You are saying that all old covenants must go, that the new one wiped them all out when that is not so. You lie about what was cancelled by Christ saying because Christ replace some all were cancelled. You lie about the eternity of God as some of your posts would have to be read as God changing Himself. God does not change.

I wasn't accusing you personally, honestly. Or even thinking of my personal decision about eating, altho I did make that decision so I am familiar with being judged for it. I was thinking of universal principles having to do with what we eat as applying to kosher. I have had to do a lot of soul searching over my decision.

I can't let my own daughter know of it, she is so certain that God wants joy and enjoyment for us, she would say God wants me to eat bacon. So in her house, I eat and enjoy her bacon dishes. I eat bacon in response to what scripture says about her way of worship and how I am to react so it doesn't bother me. Going on retreats, it makes a terrible problem for me. I really do not like eating these foods others enjoy. On one retreat they found out I was kosher and I had to face an entire critical group.

( Deuteronomy 14: 3-21. ) These are health laws that prevents people from getting seriously ill.

God hates people eating swine, its like smoke in His nose ( Isaiah 65:1-5 ), among other things.

Consider, pigs don't have sweat glands, so whatever poisons they eat, get trapped in their fat and skin.

I'm not sure 100% what the cooking the baby cow, in it's mothers milk means.

I think it means that it's a type of insult, or disrespect to the mother, to do that with milk from the same cow .

Today, milk we get in the store and the meat, your most likely never going to get the milk from the same cow you but meat from.
And I don't know of what recipes call for milk and meat anyway.

Here's other notes to read :
Exodus 23:19

King James Version (KJV)

19 The first of the firstfruits of thy land thou shalt bring into the house of the Lord thy God. Thou shalt not seethe a kid in his mother's milk.

the LORD. Heb Jehovah. Ap 4
God. Heb Elohim. Ap 4

mother's : i.e. in the milk of its dam. Repeated, Exodus 34:26 and Deut. 14:21 . For similar consideration compare Deut 22:6 ;
Lev 22:28.

I follow these heath laws as a Christian. I don't eat pig, or any of the animals listed.
as phil stated, welcome to the new covenant :)

And there came a voice to him, Rise, Peter; kill, and eat. But Peter said, Not so, Lord; for I have never eaten any thing that is common or unclean.
And the voice spake unto him again the second time, What God hath cleansed, that call not thou common.

and..

[h=3]1 Timothy 4:4-5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

and the most mind blowing thing is when the scriptures is being FULFILLED before our eyes.. God let your will be done, we indeed are in the last days

[h=3]1 Timothy 4:1-5[/h]King James Version (KJV)

4 Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils;
2 Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron;
3 Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.
4 For every creature of God is good, and nothing to be refused, if it be received with thanksgiving:
5 For it is sanctified by the word of God and prayer.

my goodness.. it's so incredible the word of God being fulfilled before our eyes
